About the Washburn County Health Department
The Washburn County Health Department is located in Shell Lake, WI, and serves residents living in Spooner, Sarona, Shell Lake, Trego, Minong, Beaver Brook, and Birchwood.

Our Mission is to promote, protect and improve the lifelong health of individuals and communities in Washburn County through the effective use of data and evidence, community-driven prevention strategies, leadership, advocacy, partnerships, and the promotion of health equity.
